| Summary | 0001581: Glory Zone can cause soft-lock in co-op by locking all players out of mid-boss room | ||||
| Description | I was hosting a co-op game, and I had one friend playing with me. My friend progressed ahead of me on the Penumbra stage and started fighting the mid-boss. At the same time, I teleported into a Glory Zone which also teleported my friend from the mid-boss room into the Glory Zone with me. After completing the Glory Zone and teleporting back to the main stage, we continued on from the Glory Zone exit back to the mid-boss room only to find that the entrance door was locked and the mid-boss was still active. Since both of us couldn't enter the mid-boss room, we were basically soft-locked. However, after a while we realized that one of us had a special weapon that could attack through the door/wall and barely reach the mid-boss enemies if they moved *just close enough* to our side of the room. After we defeated the mid-boss by attacking through the wall, both doors opened, and we were able to continue. If it wasn't for that special weapon though, we would have been forced to restart our run. | ||||
| Steps To Reproduce | 1. Have P1 host game 2. Have P2 join game 3. Play Penumbra stage and find a Glory Zone teleporter before the mid-boss room 4. Have P2 continue to mid-boss room and enter it 5. Have P1 enter Glory Zone - this should teleport P2 from mid-boss room to Glory Zone 6. Finish Glory Zone and continue to mid-boss room 7. Mid-boss room should be locked with no way to enter or progress through the stage unless you can somehow beat the mid-boss by shooting through the wall | ||||
