| Description | I believe this bug is basically the same as https://mantis.batterystaplegames.com/view.php?id=1360 While playing online co-op with a friend (Mega Mode; I was client, they hosted), we played through three stages with no issue, and then halfway during the fourth stage (Penumbra, Absolution's stage) we took a portal into a Glory Zone. No terrain loaded for me and I fell repeatedly until dead. I then spectated my friend; throughout the Glory Zone encounter, I still could not see terrain so it appeared as if they were walking/climbing on air. When they returned to the main stage, it appeared normal (the stage was there) for a long while, until right before the boss door, where there was no terrain for me again; upon being revived I had to move left and climb onto terrain, or I'd fall into the void again. My friend could not go through the boss door without me, and I couldn't see or touch the boss door. So I decided to kill my character and watch my friend fight the boss alone; there was still no terrain on my side. After they killed the boss, there was another revival point, but with no terrain, I just fell over and over (not losing HP), unable to claim the boss' weapon. My friend took the exit to end the stage, and we were both brought back to the home base normally. (We then stopped playing and did not see if the bug persisted to the next stage.) | ||||
| Additional Information | Attached screenshots #1, 2, and 4 were from my (client) side; screenshot #3 is what my friend saw while at the same place where I took screenshot #2. Notice that screenshot 2 has tmx/penumbra/A10_spiretop/pu_spiretop_hk_A0.30lv in the upper-right while all other screenshots say notDynamic. From the spot in #2, I was able to backtrack left and the stage was normal there. | ||||

Hey there - spent some time trying to track this one down, to no avail yet - having trouble reproducing it, but I know multiple users have reported something similar - like the client just totally fails to load one or more chunks, leading to bad times. (I think the linked ticket is something different - at least in that one, the stage decorations load - could still be related!) If you happen to try again and experience this bug again, could you and your partner each do the following? 1) Press LCTRL-tilde, which will open the debug console 2) Press LCTRL-LALT-LSHIFT-L all together, which will print out the chunk list to the debug log 3) screenshot it (you and the host), and send it over - I'm trying to see if they're different, or if the "missing" pieces on your end are actually fully missing from the skeleton manifest, or if they're failing to load for some other reason Thanks!
