Summary | 0001164: Can't play with a plugged in Switch Pro Controller
Description | The moment I started the game, I was blasted into what looks like probably the first stage, and my character just starts jumping like crazy, attacking, and jumping into a wall. Apparently trying to pull the menu on and off, too, because I can sometimes see the menu try to appear. Also constantly hitting some button that causes "no power yet" to spam form the character. If I change the game focus, it stops happening. If I unplug my switch pro controller, it stops happening. As soon as I plug it back in, it happens again. I double checked on another game I currently have installed, Speedrunners, and my controller works just fine. I then installed and double checked on 20xx, and it seems I get the same problem. The character just goes crazy. It effects the menu, too. If I connect the controller while in the menu, the game will auto start, and chaos begins.
Steps To Reproduce | Plug in Switch Pro Controller to PC via USB-A to USB-C Launch 30xx Alternatively, after launching 30xx, plug in the controller
Additional Information | It feels like the game is constantly trying to push all the buttons at the same time.

And hey look, now I'm logged in. Well anyway, I reported this bug. |
|
This is kind of wild - do any of the Steam controller configs fix this? |
|
Alright. I did some more research. I figured out that it does this on a few other games as well. In the end, the solution I found was to plug in the controller, and then restart the computer. At that point, everything apparently synced up correctly. So now I am able to play correctly with a plugged in Switch Pro controller. |

Sweet! Glad to hear it. Closing. |
