It's a bit hard to see but thanks to the black around the text it is possible. You are currently sitting at 4/8 core slots. Easier to see, the boots have 5 dots meaning they require 5 core slots. You would have to disable one of the other cores, each of which require 2 core slots. Once that's done you would have 2/8 core slots so you could enable the boots. Once the boots are enabled you'd be at 7/8 core slots used. In gameplay while in air holding one of 4 directions and pressing dash would allow a dash in that direction. The game tells you on pickup if you don't have enough cores to enable the item, granted the text is transparent and only present briefly. Perhaps an additional signal to the player indicating insufficient core slots... |
