| Summary | 0001587: Incompatible augs still drop when a co-op other-character has left the game, and the host player cannot salvage them for augs. | ||||
| Description | When playing co-op as Ace or Nina and the second, remote player, was playing the other character, augs specific to the other character continue to drop, and cannot be used nor salvaged. This essentially pollutes the drop pool with totally-unusable augmentations, which is a bad feel! | ||||
| Steps To Reproduce | 1. Start a game as Nina (or Ace). 2. Recruit a co-op remote player as Ace (or Nina). 2a. THE TWO CHARACTERS MUST BE DIFFERENT. 3. Have the second player immediately leave the game. 4. Play on as Nina (or Ace) as if the game were single-player. 5. Note that eventually, an Aug will drop that is unique to Ace (or Nina) and that the first player, who is Nina (or Ace) cannot collect the aug, nor can they Salvage the aug. The Aug is just stuck there. Nothing can be done with it. 5a. If no such aug drops, this is likely down to random chance. Try again. | ||||
| Additional Information | This is a very bad feeling, especially when the aug comes out of a slot machine, which the player spent valuable resources for. Suggested fixes: Best fix: When the co-op player drops, immediately flush and regenerate the drop pool without that character present. Good fix: When a character-unique drop drops, sanity-check that there is a character of that class in the game. If not, allow the aug to be salvaged for the salvage reward. Alternative Good fix: When a character-unique drop drops, sanity-check that there is a character of that class in the game. If not, cause the aug to instead become three large nut drops. | ||||
